Robin K

Robin is a Mechanical Engineer (MEng) and AM Expert based in Germany with 10 years of experience in 3D printing.

 

From reverse engineering utilizing 3D scanning and data reconstruction to AM data preparation, build process and post-processing of the components. His expertise relates to all common AM processes, with a special focus on plastics processing. Furthermore, he has a lot of experience in research & development with a focus on agile development and its methods.

 

Robin's expertise in part design was gained as a senior detail designer at various companies such as Oase and Braun. He established and led the plastics department at the Chair of Digital Additive Manufacturing at RWTH Aachen University, where he has continued to build on his deep AM expertise.

 

Currently, Robin is working as a freelance consultant to help small and medium-sized companies to get started with additive manufacturing. He is also offering education for engineers and other interested professionals who need training in additive manufacturing.
